    Terry L. Griffith, 46, Somerset, lost a long and hard-fought battle with leukemia on
  Oct. 24, 2006. Born Oct. 13, 1960, in Somerset, he is the son of David ÒBuckÓ and Marge
  (Bowers) Griffith, Somerset. Preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Guy and
  Twila Bowers, and paternal grandparents, David and Rosalie Griffith. Besides his parents
  he is survived by a son, James D. Griffith, Cascade, Md.; brothers, David L. Griffith and
  wife, Cindy, Berlin; James D. Griffith and wife, Marcy, Meyersdale; and sister, Susan
  Lichty and husband, Charles, Rockwood; nieces, Jennifer Custer, Ashley Griffith, Gail,
  Emily and Lisa Lichty; and a special friend Lori Schmucker. Terry was a loving father and
  an avid fisher-man. He was a 1978 Graduate of Somerset High School and employed at
  Somerset Well Drilling. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the
  Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, where a service will be held 11 a.m. Friday. The Rev.
  Bryan Karchner officiating. Interment in Somerset County Memorial Park. Contributions may
