  GRIFFITH
  
    Thomas Griffith, 82, of Somerset RD 8, died April 3, 1996, in
  Somerset Hospital.  Born March 2, 1914, in Garret County, Md., son of
  late Silas and Amanda (Lytle) Griffith.  Preceded in death by two
  sons, Randy and Harold.  Survived by wife, the former Ruth McCulley,
  and these children: Wilber Dean, Blasdell, N.Y.; Nancy Whipkey,
  Somerset; Charlene Pugh, Somerset RD 8; Linda Mostoller, Friedens RD
  2; Donald, Somerset; Cheryl Maul, Somerset; Kathy Mostoller, Delevan,
  N.Y.; and Douglas, Somerset RD 8; also 21 grandchildren and 10
  great-grandchildren, and sister, Virginia Kerr, Winter Beach, Fla. 
  Army Air Corps veteran of World War II.  Member of Somerset Post 554,
  VFW.  Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at
  the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, where services will be
  conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Rev. Freeman Raley.  Interment, St.
  John's Cemetery.
