    William Roy Griffith, 77, Blacks Hill Road, Jenner Township, died Aug. 27, 2006, at
  home. Born March 31, 1929 in Boswell, son of Martin R. and Gladys G. (Lancaster)
  Griffith. Preceded in death by parents; wife, the former Dorothy Bell on Dec. 31, 2000;
  and brother-in-law, Blaine Sechler. Survived by children, Jerry, Jenner Township; Tamey
  Swank, Somerset; and Barry at home. Also survived by grandson, Travis Swank; sister, Ann
  Sechler, Meyersdale; and brother, Larry married to Kathleen Testa, Jerome. A graduate of
  the former Boswell High School. Past employee of the former Boswell News. Retired
  employee of the former Benshoff Printing Co., Johnstown. Member of the Boswell Church of
  God, where he was the longtime organist. Volunteer computer teacher at the Somerset
  Christian School. Loved to travel with his daughter, enjoyed the Jennerstown Speedway and
  Òghost huntingÓ at Gettysburg with his sons and Star Wars movies with his grandson.
  Viewing from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from noon until time of service at 1 p.m. Wednesday
  at the Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Main Street, Boswell, the Rev. James R.
  Price officiating. Interment Jenner Township Baptist Cemetery.
