Born Aug. 28, 1923 in Somerset, daughter of George and Mary (Fritz) Bittner. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Churh (sic), McConnellsburg, the auxiliaries of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars. Survived by husband, Charles T. Griffith; and three sons: Dennis of Fayetteville, Pa., Terry of Berlin and Donald of McConnellsburg; one sister, Blanche Tasker, Johnstown; and three brothers, Dwight Bittner of Pittsburgh, Earl Bittner of Somerset and Richard Berry of Somerset; five grandchildren. Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Kelso Funeral Home, McConnellsburg, with the Rev. Robert Howard officiating. Interment, Union Cemetery, McConnellsburg.
