  GRIMM
  
    Ralph Edgar Grimm, 87, of Berlin Plank Road, Somerset, died Oct.
  23, 1997, at Windber Hospital, Windber.  Born July 2, 1910 in
  Normalville, Fayette County.  Son of David and Sarah (Eicher)
  Grimm.  Preceded in death by parents; brothers, David, Eugene and
  J.W. Grimm, and sisters, Bessie Hall, Hazel Eicher, Grace Hunter,
  Carrie Hall and Nellie Adams.  Survived by wife, the former Lida
  Frances Firestone, to whom he was married 68 years; a daughter, Mrs.
  Robert (Doris Joan) Dwire, Confluence; grandchildren: Mrs. Dean
  (Lida) Tinkey, Rockwood; Mrs. Wayne (Darlene) Singer, Mud Pike,
  Somerset; Mrs. Roger (Pamela) Shipley, Confluence; Mrs. Roger (Gaye)
  Beckner, Somerset; Harry E. Pritts, married to the former Denise
  Shank, Somerset; Mr. Robert L. Dwire, Confluence, and Robert F.
  Dwire, Confluence.  Also 20 great-grandchildren and 17
  great-great-grandchildren.  Brother of Donald Grimm, Connellsville. 
  Retired self-employed truck driver and saw mill operator in Somerset
  and Bedford counties.  He was an avid hunter and fisherman.  Friends
  will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Hauger-Zeigler
  Funeral Home, Somerset, where services will be conducted at 10 a.m.
  Saturday, with the Rev. Douglas W. Baker officiating.  Interment,
  Husband Cemetery.
