She was born Dec. 10, 1895, in Pittsburgh, daughter of the late George and Ella (Martin) Dougherty. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Charles R. Grissinger; three brothers, John R., George A., and Frank A.; and by a sister, Sister Marie Celine SSJ. She was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, Somerset, and a former member of the American Assn. of Nurse Anesthetists, American Legion and the Pittsburgh Hospital Alumni. She was a veteran of World War I and had served in the Army Nurse Corps. Friends will be received 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home. Mass of the Christian Burial will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at St. Peter's Catholic Church with the Rev. Father Samuel Tomaselli. Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.
