  Nelle H. Grof, 89, Meyersdale, died March 23, 1988, at Meyersdale Community
  Hospital.  Born August 18, 1898, in Meyersdale, a daughter of the late
  William F. and Anna (Deist) Hady.  Also preceded in death by her husband,
  Frederick L.; a son, William H.; three brothers and four sisters.  Survived
  by son Frederick L. Jr., Meyersdale; daughter Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Warner,
  Fort Hill; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.  A sister of:
  George Hady, Berlin; James Hady, Tustin, Calif.; Mrs. Anna May and Mrs.
  Dorothy Walter, both of Johnstown.  She was a member of the Zion Lutheran
  Church, Trinity Chapter 138 Eastern Star, American Legion Auxiliary and
  Meyersdale Community Hospital Auxiliary.  She was a former secretary of the
  Meyersdale Chamber of Commerce and former tax collector.  Friends will be
  recerived 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Friday at Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale.  Services
  will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday at Zion Lutheran Church, with Pastor
  Pamela C. Armstrong officiating.  Interment, Union Cemetery.  In lieu of
  flowers, contributions may be made to Zion Lutheran Church Memorial Fund. 
  Eastern Star memorial service Friday 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
