  Clifford E. Groff, 82, of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., formerly of Pittsburgh and
  Confluence, died March 7, 1986, in Broward General Medical Center, Fort
  Lauderdale, Fla.  Born April 4, 1903, in Confluence, a son of the late
  Calvin L. and Jennie (Wingenroth) Groff. Survived by his wife, Mary Lou
  (Stairs) Groff; a son, Clifford of New York, N.Y.; two grandsons; a sister,
  Mrs. Ruth Wills of Miami, Fla.; and three brothers: Charles of Beaver Falls;
  William, and George, both of Confluence.  Preceded in death by four brothers
  and a sister.  Friends will be received from 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the Humbert
  Funeral Home in Confluence where services will be held Monday at noon with
  the Rev. David Bomboy officiating.  Interment, Somerset County Memorial
  Park.
