HARVEY W. GROFF

  Harvey W. Groff, 74, son of the late Ellen (Lepley) and George G. Groff, died 
at his home in Uniontown, Saturday morning, after a short illness.  When a young 
man he made his home in this vicinity.  He was a telegraph operator and agent 
for the B. & O. Railroad for 50 years.
  His survivors are his wife, Maude (Dean), Uniontown; children, Raymond of 
Clairton, Mrs. Eleanor Driscoll, Connellsville, and Mrs. Ada Pearl Brinker; 
three brothers, A. T. Groff, C. L. Groff and A. F. Groff, of Confluence and Mrs. 
J. F. Fox, Harrisburg.
  Monday afternoon, funeral services were held in the Dunbar Funeral Home, and 
interment was made in the Dunbar Cemetery.
