  PAUL E. GROFF
  
    Paul E. Groff, 77, of Clairton, formerly of Confluence, died June 4,
  1982, in McKeesport Hospital.
    He was born April 2, 1905, in Confluence, son of Calvin and Jennie
  (Wingenroth) Groff.
    He was preceded in death by a son, Paul Everett; one sister and four
  brothers.
    He is survived by widow, the former Elizabeth Troy; one son, Russell E.,
  of McMinnbille, Oregon; four grandchildren; and these brothers and sisters:
  Mrs. Ruth M. Wills, Miami, Fla.; Cliffort, Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; William W.
  and George L., both of Confluence; and Charles D., Beaver Falls.
    He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Clairton; was a former U.S.
  Steel employee in management for 45 years and was a resident of Clairton
  for 56 years.  Private graveside services were held under the direction of
  the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home, with the Rev. Douglas D. Roth
  officiating.  Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.
