  DONALD L. GROFT
  
    Donald L. Groft, 65, of Berlin RD 3, died March 28, 1982, at home.
    He was born May 5, 1916, in Allegheny Township, the son of Simon W. and
  Ella (Boyer) Groft.
    He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Lloyd.
    He is survived by his wife, Ruth E., and a brother, Robert of Meyersdale.
    He was an Army veteran of World War II and former school board member of
  Berlin - Brothersvalley School District, and was employed by Pennsylvania
  Turnpike Commission as a mechanic and recently a guard at the Allegheny
  Tunnel.
    He was also a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Berlin.
    Friends were received at the Johnson-Kuhlman Funeral Home, Berlin.
    Private graveside services were held in the Berlin I.O.O.F. Cemetery with
  the Rev. Kenneth S. Swanson officiating.
