  GROFT
  
    Earl Ray Groft, 63, Berlin (Roxbury), died Jan. 12, 1999, at Somerset
  Hospital.  Born April 16, 1935, in Brothersvalley Township, son of Helen
  (Chonko) Groft, Berlin, and the late Lloyd Groft.  Also survived by
  brothers: Glendon, Applecreek, Ohio; and Lloyd, Berlin.  Former employee of
  CSX Railroad.  Korean War Army veteran.  Member of St. Gregory's Catholic
  Church, Mcdonaldton.  Family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
  Thursday (today) at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin, where vigil for the
  deceased will be held at 8 p.m. Thursday.  Funeral Mass will be held at 10
  a.m. Friday at St. Gregory's Catholic Church, Mcdonaldton, with the Rev.
  Donald W. Dusza officiating.  Committal at church cemetery.  Graveside
  military rite by Berlin American Legion and V.F.W.
