Born Nov. 26, 1896 in Perkasi, Pa., a son of the late Jamandus and Mary Ann (Strohm) Groh. Preceded in death by his wife, the former Wilma Katherine Ringler, who died Oct. 11, 1978 and three sisters. Survived by these children: Roxine, wife of Roger Saylor of Somerset; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Sara Frederick of St. Petersburg, Fla. He was a member of FOE, Somerset; Johnstown Lodge F. and A.M., veteran of World War I. Mr. Groh was an independent petroleum distributor in the Somerset Area from April, 1940 until April 1960. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. today (Friday) at the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home, where services will be conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. H. James Meyers officiating.
