  HERBERT W. GROSS
    
    Herbert W. Gross, 80, of Rockwood RD 2, died April 4, 1981, at Somerset
  Community Hospital.
    He was born March 26, 1901, in McKeesport, son of the late Charles and
  Clara (Custer) Gross.
    He was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
    He is survived by his wife, the former Sara Gary and three children: Mrs.
  Paul (Iva) Enos, Somerset; Charles W. Gross of Markleton RD 1; and George M.
  Gary of Meyersdale; also, 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.  He
  was a brother of Ethel and Margaret Gross of Rockwood.  He was a member of
  Messiah Lutheran Church; and a retired farmer by occupation.
    Friends were received at the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home where services
  were conducted with the Rev. Gregory Pile officiating.  Interment, Kingwood
  Cemetery.
