Born July 21, 1913 in Somerset County. Daughter of Charles Moore and Clara Jane (Custer) Gross. Preceded in death by parents, brother Herbert C. Gross, sisters Mabel Johnson and Ethel Gross and one infant brother and one infant sister. Survived by nephew Charles C. Gross of Markleton; nieces Mrs. Iva Belle Enos of Somerset and Mrs. Hebert (Wilma) Miller of McMurray; seven great-nephews, six great-nieces and numerous great-great-nieces and nephews. Member of Messiah Lutheran Church in New Centerville. A 1932 graduate of Rockwood High School. Retired cook with the former Coffee Shop in Somerset and Howard Johnson's. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset, where a service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday with the Rev. William E. Osman officiating. Interment Kingwood IOOF Cemetery.
