    Ruth E. Gross, 94, Meyersdale, died Feb. 5, 1997, at Patriot Manor,
  Somerset.  Born Oct. 20, 1902, in Meyersdale, daughter of the late Charles
  C. and Emma J. (Burkhart) Boyer.  Preceded in death by her husband, James
  S., and a son, Charles D.  Survived by a son, Stanley, married to the
  former Fleicia Showalter, North Ridgeville, Ohio; seven grandchildren and
  two great-grandchildren.  Also survived by a brother, Dr. Rev. Merle Boyer,
  Kenosha, Wisc.  Funeral arrangements in the charge of Leckemby Funeral Home,
  are incomplete.
  
  GROSS
  
    Services for Ruth E. Gross of Meyersdale will be 2 p.m. Monday at
  Leckemby Funeral Home with Rev. Randall Marburger officiating.  Interment,
  Union Cemetery.  Friends will be received at Leckemby Funeral Home 2 to 4
  and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.
