Sanner Gross, 66, of Markleton, passed away Dec. 14, 2002, at Somerset Hospital. Born Nov. 19, 1936 in Upper Turkeyfoot Twp., daughter of Earl and Blanche (Miner) Sanner. Preceded in death by her parents and granddaughter Faith Rebecca Knoblach. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Charles W. Gross and the following children: Mrs. Jeff "Kristi" Ohler and children Nikki and Kasie, of Rockwood; Ben W. Gross and daughters Erin, Malerie and Jessica, of Markleton; Mrs. Albert "Tammy" Knoblach, and children Albert III and Anna of Addison; and Mrs. Jeffrey "Jennifer" Bowman and sons Matthew and Logan; and step-grandchildren Matthew, Colt and Santana. She is the sister of Shirley King of Rockwood, Rachel Townson of Olney, Md., and David W. Sanner of Markleton. She was a member of the Kingwood Church of God. She was a 1954 graduate of Rockwood High School and the Pittsburgh Beauty Academy. She was the former owner of "G.Y. Not Ceramics." She was a past president of the Middlecreek Ladies Golf League. She was an avid bowler and enjoyed the outdoors, riding her 4-wheeler and hunting. She was a very loving and devoted wife and mother. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Miller Funeral Home, Somerset, where a service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Rev. James Monticue officiating. Interment at Kingwood IOOF Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be sent to the American Cancer Society at 168 W. Union St., Somerset, Pa., 15501.
