  RUTH (COMMONS) GRUBER
  
    Mrs. Ruth C. Gruber, 73, Berlin, died July 2 in Shadyside Hospital,
  Pittsburgh.
    Born in Meyersdale, Sept. 22, 1893, she was a daughter of the late John
  and Sarah Jane (Branch) Commons.
    Surviving are her husband, John A. Gruber, a brother, Byron E. Commons,
  Inglewood, Calif.; and a number of nieces and nephews.
    Funeral service was held at Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, on Wednesday
  morning, with Rev. William Cassidy officiating.  Interment was made in
  Union Cemetery, Meyersdale.
