She was 82 years old. Born in Somerset on Sept. 9, 1920. She is the daughter of James and Nellie (Lohr) Kaufman. Betty was the beloved wife of the late Bernard Nathan Grundy. The loving mother of Bernard J. Grundy and his wife Linda D. of Gaithersburg, Md.; Terry L. Grundy of Gaithersburg, Md. and Marsha Kopcho of Langhorne; the dear grandmother of seven and great-grandmother of six, also surviving is her dear sister Nila Miller of Greenville. Betty was proud of her remarkable family history as a Kaufman of Somerset County. Betty's father had 15 brothers and sisters. Betty boasted of being able to travel from coast to coast and never be far from a relative. Relatives and friends are invited to her Life Celebration, Thursday evening from 6:30 p.m., funeral service 7 p.m. Frank Ganni, assistant pastor, Calvary Chapel of Philadelphia, at Swartz-Givnish of Newtown, Washington and Lincoln Avenues, Newtown, Pa. Friends will also be received from 12 to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Hauger-Ziegler Funeral Home with a graveside service being held at 1:30 p.m. at the Walker Cemetery with Rev. Charles F.
