ANNA M. GUMBERT

  Mrs. Anna Mary Gumbert, 93, one of the oldest residents in Brothersvalley 
Township, died Monday morning at her home on Berlin R.D. 3, following an illness 
of only two weeks.  She was a daughter of Fred and Phoebe (Schrock) Brant and 
was the widow of Henry Gumbert, whose death occurred many years ago.
  Mrs. Gumbert leaves three children - W. J. Gumbert, Miss. Sadie Gumbert and 
Mrs. Russell West, all of Berlin R.D. 3.  She also leaves one grandchild and 
these sisters and brother: Mrs. Lucinda Cober, Berlin; Mrs. Phoebe Faust, 
Cleveland, O.; Mrs. Eliza Baker and Israel Brant, both of Berlin R.D. 3.
  Funeral services were conducted at 2:30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the 
Gumbert home by Rev. E. I. Stahl, pastor of the Pine Hill Lutheran Church.  
Burial was in the church cemetery under the direction of J. N. Johnson & Son, 
Berlin morticians.
