Born March 7, 1943, in Blackfield, son of George Gumbert and Leoda (Albright) Gumbert Gindlesperger. Preceded in death by parents; infant son, Criss Wilson Gumbert; sister, Margaret McClintock; and brothers, Homer and John "Pete" Gumbert and Lloyd "Bill" Gindlesperger. Survived by daughters, Tammi, married to Michael J. Baker, Somerset; Marcy, married to Robert McVicker, Geiger; Jan, married to Stanley Addair, Jonestown; grandchildren, Jenna, Bryan, Nicole, Andrew, Cortney, Elle, Bryn, Kiley and Lochlan; stepgrandchildren, Jason, Britney, Isaac and Abram. Brother of George "Junior" Gumbert, Berlin; and Helen, married to Robert Lohr III, Boswell. A 1961 graduate of Berlin Brothersvalley High School. Retired union carpenter. Member of Berlin Area Historical Society. He enjoyed going to McDonald's for coffee and reading the Bible. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at Rockwood Alliance Church. Chaplain William Ohler and Pastor Patrick Walsh officiating. Interment Highland Cemetery, Garrett.
