Frank Gurley, of Glenside, died Thursday, November 22, 1984, at Abington Memorial Hospital. He was born November 30, 1905, in Meyersdale. He is survived by his wife, Bertha "nee" Maxwell and daughters Bertha (Beth) Adams, of Glenside; Anna Foust, of York and five grandchildren. He was a member of Jenkintown United Methodist Church; Train Collectors Association, Delaware Chapter; retired member 1357-United Food and Commercial Workers Union; retired manager of Acme Stores after 48 years of service. He was a resident of Glenside for 17 years. Services were held Monday, November 26, at 2 p.m. at the John R. Freed Funeral Home. Interment, Union Cemetery, Meyersdale, with services by Rev. Lloyd Wilson. Arrangements were under the direction of M. Ray Leckemby Funeral Home, Meyersdale. The Republic, November 29, 1984 [G-1184]
