  GUSMEROTTI
  
  Silvio A. (Gus) Gusmerotti, 52, Jerome, died March 28, 1979, at Mercy
  Hospital, Johnstown.  Born Sept. 22, 1926, in Seminole, Pa., he was a son
  of Domenico and Sandrina (Nicolli) Gusmerotti.  Preceded in death by
  father, who died Oct. 17, 1976.  He is survived by widow, the former Helen
  Horwat; son, Gary L., married to the former Lisa Plowman, Philadelphia;
  granddaughter, Sandrina.  Brother of Louis A., married to the former
  Josephine Morelli and Yole V., wife of Joseph Shubick, both of Jerome. 
  Member of Holy Cross Catholic Church, Jerome and UMW of A.  Served as
  steward for Jerome Post No. 802 American Legion for past 18 years.  Navy
  veteran of WWII and an employee of Island Creek Coal Co., Tire Hill. 
  Friends received from 7-9 p.m. Thursday and until 9 p.m. Friday at Joseph
  G. Hoffman Funeral Home, 409 Main St., Boswell, where wake service will be
  held at 8 p.m. Friday.  Mass of Christian Burial at 9 p.m. Saturday at Holy
  Cross Church.  The Rev. Hubert Konieczny OFM CONV.  Interment, church
  cemetery.
