(Somerset, Pa.), January 07, 1880 On New Year’s day, Mr. McKelvy, who works for Mr. D. R. Hess, at charcoal burning, discovered the dead body of a man in the woods, about four hundred yards from the Plank road, a mile and a half southeast of Somerset. An inquest was held by Esq. Ogle on the remains. It appeared that the body was that of August Helt, of Greenville township, who had been committed to the Poor House on the 5th of November, 1879, and had left there four or five days subsequently...
