  HACKWELDER, Joseph A.
  
    Joseph A. Hackwelder, Box 168, Rockwood RD 2, died Friday Dec 10, 1982,
  at home.  
    He was born March 20, 1927, in Pittsburgh, son of William L. and
  Catherine (McAleer) Hackwelder.  He was preceded in death by parents and a
  sister, Mary Truxal.
    He is survived by his wife, Christine M. (Belsterling) Hackwelder; four
  daughters:  Kathleen Kotchey, Altoona; Christine Autore, Pittsburgh;
  Theresa Shaulis, Champion; and Marie Cronin, Beloxi, Miss.; four sons:
  Joseph P., Somerset RD 6; Thomas, Maryland; Richard, Rockwood; and Philip,
  Roxbury; 13 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren; three brothers:
  William P., Plum Borough; John R., White Oak; and Edward R., Jeannette.  He
  was a machine molder for Somerset Foundry.  Veteran of World War II, U.S.
  Army.
    Friends were received at the Gene H. Corl Funeral Chapel, Inc., 4335
  Northern Pike, Monroeville.  Mass of Christian Burial, Our Lady of Joy
  Church.  Internment, Plum Creek Cemetery, Plum Borough.
