(Colflesh) Haer, 92 of Meyersdale, formerly of Garrett, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 8, 2007, at Meyersdale Medical Center. She was born September 27, 1914 in Confluence, daughter of the late Milton B. Colflesh and Manetta Amanda (Hostetler) Heining. Also preceded in death by husband, Curtis R. Haer - who passed away 25 years ago in 1982 - married 47 years; and an infant daughter. Also preceded in death by sisters: Edna Heining, Mabel Conn, Althea Conn, Elaine (Growall) Mosgrave and Maude Kreger; brothers: Melvin Heining, John Colflesh and Milton J. Colflesh; son-in-law, Ronald Cox, and grandson, Kyle Oakes. She is survived by sister, Sylvia George, S.C.; brother, George Colflesh, Confluence; seven children: Shirley Oakes, Garrett; Frances Humbert and husband, Jim, Somerset; Ray E. Haer and wife, Linda (Baer), Meyersdale; Lois Cox, Meyersdale; Barry Haer and wife Cathy (Heartline), Rockwood; Curtis Haer, Jr. and wife Sandy (Knopsnyder), Somerset; and Randy Haer and wife Pat (Lucas), Somerset. Also survived by twenty grandchildren, thirty-one great grandchildren and twelve great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was a life long member of Center Lutheran Church, Garrett; a member of the church choir; Sunday School Teacher and a secret sister member for many years. She belonged to the Ladies Auxiliary and Senior Citizens Group of Garrett. She was the most loving wife, mother and grandmother to all her family and was loved by everyone who knew her. She had so much love inside of her that anyone who knew her felt absolutely loved and blessed. We will all miss her smiling face and her loving arms. Friends were received at the M. Ray Leckemby Funeral Home. Services were held at Center Lutheran Church on Tuesday with Pastor Timothy Shivler, officiating. Interment Center Church Cemetery. HAER, Carrie L.
