HAER Harold Leroy Haer, 52, of Johnstown Plank Road, Bazetta Township RD 4, Ohio, died Tuesday evening, March 11, 1975. He was dead on arrival at St. Joseph's Hospital, Warren, Ohio, following a sudden heart attack. Born May 11, 1922, in Somerset, he was a son of Elsie (Walters) Haer Hoover, of Garrett, and the late Earl Hoover. His stepfather is Richard Hoover. He has been a resident of Warren for the past 20 years, where he was employed as a die setter for the H. K. Porter Company. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a member of Mt. Tabor Lutheran Church in Garrett. Also surviving are his wife, the former Leona Albright, whom he married July 23, 1949; three daughters, Mrs. William (Joyce) Tustin, of Warren; Mrs. Rodney (Barbara) Pykare, Cortland, Ohio; and Lori Ann, at home; also two grandchildren, three sisters, Mrs. Harold (Helen) Christner and Mrs. Richard (Joann) Burkholder, both of Garrett; and Mrs. Blaine (Phyllis) Vought, of Mentor, Ohio; and five brothers, Floyd Haer, Meyersdale; James Hoover of Southington, Ohio; Robert, Orville and Norval Hoover, all of Garrett. Friends will be received this (Thursday) evening from 7 to 9 p.m. in Robert H. Roberts Memorial Home, in Warren, Ohio, where funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday.
