  OTTO R. HAER
  
    Otto R. Haer, 70, of Garrett RD 1, died Jan. 27, 1979 at his residence.
    Born in Garrett, Nov. 6, 1908, he was a son of the late Noah Haer and
  Viola (Grove) Haer.
    He was a member of the Center Lutheran Church, Garrett, and the United
  Mine Workers of America.
    Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Margaret (Burkholder) Haer; a daughter,
  Mrs. Jacqueline Lear, Garrett RD 1; four sisters, Mrs. Edna Christner,
  Friedens; Mrs. Betty Weigle, Sharon; Mrs. Audrey Schrock and Mrs. Dorothy
  Steinly, both of Garrett; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
    Friends were received at the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where
  services were conducted in Center Lutheran Church by the Rev. Rick Schlak.
  Interment church cemetery.
