Hahn, 69, of Stoystown RD 2, died May 17, 1978 in Memorial Hospital. Born Sept. 29, 1908 in Shade Township, son of John and Emma (Clevenger) Hahn. Preceded in death by parents, three brothers and one sister. Survived by widow, the former Ethel Alexander; a step-son, Richard Smith of Monacca; daughter, Mrs. David Maxine Brown of Malburn; and four grandchildren. He was a brother of Raymond and Reuben, both of Michigan; Mrs. Elva Umberger of Hooversville; Mrs. Iva Wagner of Johnstown; Birl of Stoystown RD 2; and Clarence of Friedens RD 1. He was a retired coal miner and attendant at Somerset State Hospital. Member of UMW of A. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday (today) in Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, with the Rev. Max DeArmy officiating.
