The daughter of Levi and Julia (Moser) Martz, she was born in Southampton Township, March 9, 1871, and was aged 74 years, 11 months at her death. On July 4, 1889, she was united in marriage to James T. Hahn, who preceded her in death three years ago. She is survived by the following children: Adam U., Allen R. and William H. Hahn, of Meyersdale; Alvery O. Hahn, Alice, wife of Samuel McAnnis, and Minnie, wife of Baden Boger, Akron, O.; also the following sisters, Mrs. Edward Lenhart, Mrs. Irvin Fike, Mrs. Milanda Hay and Mrs. Sadie Miller of Meyersdale; Mrs. Ellen Baker, Fairhope, and Mrs. Maude Simstren, Minnesota; and also by 16 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was a kind and loving mother and neighbor. She became a member of the Church of the Brethren in her early life and was always a faithful member. Funeral services were conducted at the Konhaus Funeral Home at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon, Rev. S. Loren Bowman, pastor of the Church of the Brethren officiating.
