Hahn, son of Adam and Sarah Griffith Hahn, passed away, Saturday, Nov. 21, at 2:25 p.m., at his home in Meyersdale, following a lingering illness, having been a sufferer from a heart ailment for the past three years. At his death he was aged 74 years, 8 months and 28 days. He was born in Fayette County, Feb. 24, 1868. He came to Meyersdale as a lad of five years, and remained here for the rest of his life. He was united in marriage to Ida Jane Martz, July 4, 1889. He is survived by his wife and the following children: Mrs. Alice C. McAmis; Mrs. Minnie M. Boyer, Alvey O. Hahn of Akron, O., Adam U., William H., Allen R. Hahn of Meyersdale. A daughter, Marian, preceded him in death 42 years ago. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 8 great- grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted at the home on Tuesday afternoon by Rev. DeWitt L. Miller, pastor of the Church of the Brethren, and interment was made in the Union Cemetery.
