Born May 25, 1895, in Connellsville, daughter of the late Elmer and Alice (Crissey) Shultz. Also preceded in death by her husband, Herbert, and a daughter, Charlotte Petren. She is survived by a son-in-law, Stanley, and grandson, Randolph Petren, both of Del Ray Beach, Fla. Sister of Ethel Marie Showman of Connellsville. Member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, Somerset, and Trinity Chapter 138, O.E.S. She owned the Val-Halla Farms of Somerset County. She was also active in the Somerset County Maple Festival. There will be no visitation or viewing at the funeral home. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Trinity Lutheran Church, with the Rev. H.J. Meyers officiating.
