Hall, 100, Patriot Manor, Somerset, formerly of Kingwood, went home April 19, 1997, at the Manor. Born May 10, 1896, in Middlecreek Township, son of the late Lawrence A. and Mary (Cramer) Hall. Preceded in death by wife of 72 years, Olive F. (Dumbauld) Hall; an infant son, an infant granddaughter, and sister, Roselyn Speicher. Survived by son, Paul B. Hall, married to Juanita (Hull) Hall, Scottsdale, Ariz.; grandchildren: Maj. Laurie Hall, Ramstein Air Force Base, Germany, and Maj. Brian F. Hall, U.S. Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs, Colo., and great-granddaughters, Taylor Elizabeth and Kelsey Marie Hall. Brother of Miriam Kincaid of Rockwood RD 1. Lifelong member of First Christian Church, Somerset, where he was an Elder Emeritus. A 32nd degree Mason, and a 50 plus-year member of the Somerset Lodge 358 of the Scottish Rite F. & A.M., where he was the oldest living past master. He also belonged to the York Rite chapter in Meyersdale. Member of Pittsburgh Consistory and the Syria Shrine of Pittsburgh. A graduate of Normal School in New Centerville and was a teacher in the Kingwood area for 12 years. Former owner of a country store and gas station in Kingwood. Retired truck driver and finished his career as a longtime inspector for the Pa. Dept. of Highways. Friends received from 7-9 p.m. Monday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home, Somerset. Funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Christian Church, Somerset, where family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Pastor William Sleasman will officiate, assisted by Pastor James Monticue. Interment, Kingwood IOOF Cemetery. A Masonic service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
