Hall, 79, Ulysses, Pa., formerly of Rockwood, died Thursday Sept. 18, 1997, at Cole Memorial Hospital, Coudersport. Born Feb. 18, 1918, in Latrobe, son of the late John L. and Nellie (Trent) Hall. Survived by his wife of 54 years, the former Mary Younkin; son, William H. Hall II and wife, Helen, Strasburg, Va.; and Jerry C. Hall, Ulysses; and grandchildren: William H. Hall III, Ashburn, Va.; Jacob A. Hall, St. Leonard, Md.; and Christie L. Hall, St. Matthews, S. C. Brother of: Richard L. Hall, Rockwood; John Hall, Pittsburgh; Evelyn Thomas, Latrobe; Ruth Brant, Rockwood; and Dorothy Stutzman, Somerset. Also several nieces and nephews. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II, where he served in the Signal Corps. A 1937 graduate of Rockwood High School, lived in West Chester, Pa. from 1953-1985 when he moved to Ulysses. Employed by Texas Eastern Gas Transmission Corp. in West Chester, where he served as treasurer of the company credit union for 27 years. Member of the All Saints Episcopal Church, Brookland, Pa.; Eulalia Lodge 342 F. and A.M. Coudersport; Potter Commandry 69, Scottish Rite Valley of Reading; American Legion Potter Post 192 in Coudersport and was a Boy Scout Leader in Chester County for several years., Funeral service will be conducted Monday at 3 p.m. at the Wilbur D.
