  HALVERSON
  
  Carl N.J. "Pump" Halverson, 75, West Patriot Street, Somerset, died Sept.
  15, 1985, in Somerset Community Hosiptal [sic].  
  Born Aug. 20, 1910, in Windber, son of the late Samuel C. and Selma
  (Swanson) Halverson.  Preceded in death by parents; sister, May Grof; and
  brothers, Raymond and Harold.  Survived by his wife, Erma (Lambert)
  Halverson; sons: Samuel and John Halverson and Charles Engleka, all of
  Mesa, Ariz,.; five grandchildren; and one brother, Lester K., Yorktown,
  Va.  He was a member of St. Paul's Presbyterian Church; retired employee of
  Pennsylvania Department of Welfare; a charter member and former
  secretary-treasurer of Somerset County Oldtimers Baseball Association,. 
  Friends will be received 4-8 p.m. Tuesday (today) in Robert H. Halverson
  Funeral Home where services will be conducted Wednesday at 10 a.m. with the
  Rev. Douglas A. Rehberg officiating.  Interment, Somerset County Memorial
  Park.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart or Lung
  associations.
