Halverson, 92, of West Main Street, Somerset, died March 9, 1980, in her home. Born Aug. 20, 1887, in Pine Township, Indiana County, a daughter of the late Evan G. and Ellen (Patterson) Davis. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Halver T.; one son, Kenneth E.; and one great-grandson, Billy. Also five brothers and three sisters. Survived by Clarence H., Uniontown, Ohio; Dorothy, wife of Ream Barclay, and Isabel, wife of Ivan Flower, both of Akron, Ohio; Jay C., Columbus, Ohio; and Robert H., Somerset. Also survived by 17 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Also survived by one brother, Dr. E.G. Davis, Spartanburg, S.C.; and one sister, Mrs. Hazel Austin, Apollo. Member of Christ Casebeer Lutheran Church, Ladies Volunteer Bible Class and L.C.W. Friends are being received in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home. Funeral service will be conducted Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. in Christ Casebeer Lutheran Church, the Rev. Robert R. Clark, the Rev. Walter E., Lundberg and the Rev. H. Timothy Halverson officiating.
