  HAMER
  
    Richard W. Hamer, 46, of Brothersvalley Township, died Feb. 4, 2000, at
  Somerset Hospital.  Born Aug. 30, 1953, in Somerset, he is the son of Helen
  J. (Fisher) Hamer and the late Robert M. Hamer Sr.  Besides his mother, he
  is survived by a sister, Mrs. Rev. John Q. (Carol) Hayes of Homer City and
  a brother, Robert Hamer Jr. of Greenville, S.C.  Also survived by three
  uncles, three aunts, six nieces and two nephews.  Member of the Laurel Hill
  Gospel Tabernacle and a 1971 graduate of Forbes High School.  Friends
  received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today (Monday) in the Robert H. Halverson
  Funeral Home, Somerset, where services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, with
  the Rev. Chauncey J. Ickes officiating.  Interment, Somerset County
  Memorial Park.  Contributions may be made to the Laurel Hill Gospel
  Tabernacle, 7415 Somerset Pike, Boswell, Pa. 15531.
