  Anita (Pyle) Hammer, 71, 174 Gas Road, Pittsburgh, formerly of Jennerstown,
  died July 6, 1989, at home.  Born March 10, 1918, in Jenner Township,
  Somerset County, daughter of Ellis M. and Sylvia R. (Pickworth) Pyle. 
  Preceded in death by parents and husband, Paul L., died Aug. 26, 1974. 
  Survived by daughter, Peggy Ann and grandson, Jason J. Hammer, both of
  Pittsburgh.  Sister of Forrest, married to former Louise Louther,
  Blairsville; Mary, wife of Thomas Palmer, Warren, Ohio; Dalton, married to
  former Evelyn Nees, Wilmington, Del.; and Ann, wife of John Weber,
  Ligonier.  Member of Trinity Chapter No. 138, Order of Eastern Star,
  Somerset.  Friends received 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at Hoffman Funeral
  Home, Allegheny Street, Boswell, where service will be held at 11 a.m.
  Monday with the Rev. Donald Speigle officiating.  Interment, Jenner
  Township Baptist Cemetery.  OES service 7:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral
