  HAMMER
  
  Mildred V. Hammer, 73, Boswell RD 1, died the evening of Oct. 20, 1984, at
  home.  Born April 21, 1911, in Jenner Township, daughter of Charles and
  Emma B. (Lohr) Georg.  Preceded in death by parents; husband, David G., who
  died June 12, 1961; infant daughter, Bertha Elsie; sisters:  Zeda Georg and
  Lulu O'Connor; brothers:  Harry, Edward, John, C. Jacob, and Earl. 
  Survived by these children:  Mona, at home; David C., married to former
  Donna Saylor, Boswell RD 1; and Nancy, wife of Barry Sheaffer, Elliottsburg
  RD 1, Pa.; six grandchildren.  Sister of:  Paul, Davidsville; Charlotte
  Weaver, Jennerstown; Emma Barnett, Cape Coral, Fla.; Mary McMullin, Silver
  Spring, Md.  Member of Laurel Trinity Lutheran Church, Jennerstown;
  Excelsior Bible Class and L.C.W. Partner of former Hammer's Market,
  Somerset Pike; former employee of Hart's Home Store, Richland Mall. 
  Friends received from 7-9 p.m. Monday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at
  Hoffman Funeral Home, Allegheny Street, Boswell.  Body will be removed to
  Laurel Trinity Church for viewing from 10 a.m. Wednesday until time of
  service at 11 a.m., the Rev. Jesse E. Wolf officiating.  Interment, Mt.
  Zion Cemetery.  Memorials to the Somerset Community Hospital Hospice would
  be appreciated.
