  HAMMER
  
  Paul L. Hammer, 60, of Jennerstown died Aug. 26, 1974, at Allegheny General
  Hospital, Pittsburgh.  Born May 8, 1914, in Jenner Township, Somerset
  County, a son of P. M. and Alice M. (Speicher) Hammer.  Preceded in death
  by mother, who died March 11, 1971.  Survived by father, Boswell RD 1;
  widow, the former Anita Pyle; a daughter, Peggy Ann Hammer; two sisters,
  Belle, wife of Andrew Bodensky, Elwood City, and Miss Mary Hammer, Boswell
  RD 1; and a grandson, Jason.  Was a retired employee of Wagner Electric
  Brake Testing Division, Jennerstown.  Member of Somerset Lodge F & AM No.
  358 and Tall Cedars of Lebanon, Westmoreland Forest No. 77.  Friends
  received from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at Joseph H.
  Hoffman Funeral Home, 227 Allegheny St., Boswell, where service will be
  held at 11 a.m. Thursday, the Rev. Kenneth C. Louder.  Interment, Jenner
  Township Baptist Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made
  to National Arthritic Foundation.
