Born Dec. 28, 1887 in Huntingdon County, she was a daughter of Lewis and Sonora Warnick. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Hammond in 1950, and by two sons and one daughter. She is survived by one son, Theodore of Rockwood; two daughters: Florence Parks of Mapletown and Mrs. Della Baker of Cleveland, Ohio; and one sister, Dora E. Hammond of McVeytown; 19 grandchildren; 57 great- grandchildren; and 10 great great grandchildren. She was a member of the Jehovah Witnesses of Somerset. Friends were received at the William J. Wood Funeral Home, Rockwood where services were conducted with Brother Jack Lebo officiating. Interment, Rockwood I.O.O.F. Cemetery. The Republic, November 9, 1978 [H0137]
