  HAMMOND
  
  Mary E. Hammond, 74, 1553 Logan Ave., Tyrone, and a resident of the Epworth
  Manor following a lengthy illness.  She was born Feb. 26, 1913, in Somerset,
  daughter of Charles B. and Ester E. (Sherman) Rinick.  She was married to
  Edwin J. Hammond, who died June 3, 1971.  She is survived by two sons: 
  Harold H., Tyrone; and Ronald L., Loretto RD.  Also surviving are two
  sisters and a brother:  Mrs. Melda Ringer, Miss Louise Rinick and Charles
  W. Rinick, all of Somerset.  She was a member of the Church of God in
  Somerset.  Funeral Service will be today at 10 a.m. at the Derman Funeral
  Home in Tyrone with the Rev. Neil R. Albright officiating.  Interment,
  Logan Valley Cemetery, Elwood.
