Preceded in death by parents; first husband Brinker W. Berkley; sister, Fortunata M. "Florence" Policicchio; brothers: Domenic J., Vincent G. and Natale J. "Nathan" Codispoti; nieces: Nancy Codispoti and Antoinette Cassidy; and great-nephew, Thomas Cassidy. Survived by husband of 46 years, James E.; stepchildren: Sarah A. (Hancock), widow of Bernard Trick, Hermosa Beach, Calif.; Michael B. Hancock, Dayton, Ohio, Marsha A. (Hancock), married to Harrison Smith, Friedens, and Marian N. (Berkley), married to Lester Hostetler of Somerset; Hancock stepgranddaughters: Jennifer Miller and Jackie Botkins; Berkley stepgrandchildren, Roy and Linda Hostetler; brothers: Angelo J. Codispoti, married to the former Jeanette Pucci, Jenners; Anthony Codispoti, married to the former Concetta Tedesco, New York, N.Y.; and John Codispoti, Montross, VA.; brother-in-law, Gregory Policicchio, Boswell; and sister-in-law, Elizabeth (Malatesta) Codispoti, Pittsburgh; also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Along with her husband, James, she owned and operated the Boswell Prescription Center from 1973 to 1990. Active member of Beta Sigma Phi Professional Sorority, Women's Pharmaceutical Association of Pa., Soroptimist Club of Somerset County, Boswell Lodge 1780 S.O.I., and All Saints Catholic Parish. Friends received from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at Hoffman Funeral Home, Main Street, Boswell. Followed by Funeral Mass at 1 p.m. Tuesday at All Saints Church, Boswell, Rev. Father Justin A. Ratajczak, O.F.M. Conv. celebrant. Committal at Mt. Carmel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mildred's name, may be given to your favorite Catholic charity.
