Handwerk, 86, South Street, Berlin, died Aug. 19, 1999, at Meadow View Nursing Center. Born April 16, 1913, in Brothersvalley Township, daughter of Wilson H. and Edna (Beachley) Boyer. Preceded in death by parents; first husband, David Blough; brothers: Harry, Robert and Jay Boyer; sister, Ruth Maust, and 2 infant sisters. Survived by her husband of 45 years, Norman S., and these children: Bernadine, married to William Webreck, Berlin; and Donald Blough, married to the former Kay Hillegas, of New Freedom; 3 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Sister of Bernadine Brennan, Connecticut, and Earl Boyer of Berlin. Member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Berlin. Family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m., Friday, at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Rev. Glenn P. Foster and Rev. Ralph G. Landis.
