MARY ANN HANDWERK

  Mrs. Mary Ann Handwerk, 87, died Wednesday, Dec. 8, at the home of her 
daughter, Mrs. Harry Romesburg, Rockwood RD 1.  She was born Nov. 25, 1861.  Her 
husband, John Handwerk, died in June 1947.
  She is survived by the following children: Col. Morris C. Handwerk, in the 
U.S. Army service in Japan; Dalton C. Handwerk, San Francisco, Calif.; Galen O. 
Handwerk, Meyersdale; Mrs. Asa Shuck, Sand Patch, and Mrs. Romesburg, with whom 
she made her home, also five grandchildren.
  Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at two o'clock at the Johnson & 
Son Funeral Home, Berlin, with the Rev. F. D. Witmer officiating.  Burial will 
be made in Hays Church Cemetery.
