  HANDWERK
  
  Walter R. Handwerk, 83, of Somerset Towers, Somerset, died Aug. 10, 2001 at
  Somerset Hospital.  Born May 14, 1918 in Upper Turkeyfoot Twp., son of the
  late Freeman and Dorotha (Herwig) Handwerk.  Preceded in death by his wife,
  the former Reda E. Trout, a son Barry, and a sister Edna Miller.  Survived
  by a stepson, Terry Kelly of Somerset; loving and dear friends Evelyn Ruth
  Brown and Jean Long both of Somerset; 3 grandchildren, Terrisa Kelly Zeik,
  Kansas, Barry and Laura Handwerk, Wilson Creek.  Brother of Ada Lyons
  Rockwood and Violet Burkett of Somerset.  Retired employee of PennDOT. 
  Friends will be received 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
  Tuesday at the Miller Funeral Home, Somerset, where funeral service will be
  conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday.  Rev. Roger Forry officiating.  Interment,
  Rockwood I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
