  Barbara Grace Handwork, 67, Somerset, died June 18, 2005, at Somerset Hospital
  with her family by her bedside. Born June 8, 1938, in Bedford County, a
  daughter of William Meade and Carrie Dena (Barefoot) Saylor. Preceded in death
  by parents; husband, Glen R. Handwork, who died Nov. 27, 1993; brothers:
  Palmer, Owen and Duane Saylor and sisters, Phyllis Westover and Nelle Weaver.
  Survived by children, Robert Glen Handwork, married to the former Jo Ann
  Lawhorn, Canonsburg and Helen J. Handwork, Somerset; grandson, Glen E.
  Schubert, Avon, N.Y. Sister of Mildred Oldham, Carlisle, Lois Kathleen
  Barefoot, Twinsburg, Ohio and George Saylor, Hermitage; sister-in-law, Alverta
  Handwork-Luce and brother-in-law, Jack and Sara Jane Handwork. A 1956 graduate
  of Chestnut Ridge High School. Member of Grace United Methodist Church where
  she was a member of the choir. Worked for Riverside Bakery from 1978-1988. Also
  a member of Wills Grange and Somerset County Pomona Grange. She was also an avid
  sports fan and especially enjoyed the Pittsburgh Pirates and she enjoyed
  watching her birds. Friends received 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the
  Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset, where service will be conducted 10 a.m.
  Thursday. The Rev. Charles F. Olson officiating. Interment, Fishertown
  Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Grace United Methodist Church, 320
  Felgar Road, Somerset, PA 15501 or American Lung Association Wexford
  Professional Building, Suite 2104, 11676 Perry Hwy., Wexford, PA 15090. A
  Somerset County Pomona Grange service will be held at 8 p.m. Wednesday.
