  FLORENCE M. HANFT
  
    Florence M. Hanft, 80, of 2107 Robinson Road, Bel Air, died Sunday
  January 9, 1983, in Jarrettsville at the home of her nephew, Mark Tressler.
    She was born in Grantsville, Maryland and was a daughter of the late
  Peter Beachy and Mary (Platter) Beachy.  She was preceded in death by her
  husband, August Hanft.
    She was a member of Bear Creek Church of Brethren, Accident.
    She is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Emma Durst, Terra Alta, W.Va.;
  Mrs. Ruth Hartman, Salisbury, and Ms. Pauline Beachy, Bel Air.
    Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home where services were
  conducted with the Rev. William C. Shimer officiating.  Interment will be
  in Grantsville Cemetery.
