Hankey, 92 of Somerset died Nov. 26, 1999, at Siemon Lakeview Manor Estate, Somerset. Born Nov. 13, 1907, in Milford Township. Daughter of Harry Unrah and Maude McCune (Critchfield) Pyle. Preceded in death by parents; husband, William R. Hankey, who died July 28, 1985; 2 brothers: Clarence T. and George S. Pyle, and sister, Evelyn M. Pyle. Survived by 4 nephews, 2 nieces, 4 great-nieces, 4 great-nephews, 4 great-great-nephews, 4 great-great-nieces and 3 great-great-grand nieces. Member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Somerset. Graduated from Somerset High School and California State College. Was a kindergarten teacher for 15 years with Wilmerding Schools. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today (Saturday) at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, where services will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday, with the Rev. Robert L. Hoover Jr. officiating.
