  HANKINSON
   
  Grace A. Hankinson, 87, New Baltimore, died Sept., 4, 1989, at Meyersdale
  Hospital.  Born Nov. 3, 1901, in Meyersdale, daughter of the late William
  and Mary (Will) Callahan.  On May 12, 1926, she married D.A. Hankinson, he
  preceded her in death in 1978; also preceded in death by infant brother and
  sister, also sisters, Blanche and Margaret, and granddaughter, Mary
  Elaine.  Survived by these children: Rosemarie, widow of Stanley Hillegas
  of Bedford; Mary Grace, wife of Thomas Stiffler, and D.V. "Buddy", married
  to the former Betty Snively, both of New Baltimore; Agnes, wife of Robert
  Alianiello, Timonium, Md.; Bernie, married to the former Shirl Burkholder,
  Bedford RD 6; Richard, married to former Patsy Merril, Vienna, Va.; and
  Margaret, wife of Leonard Diehl, Manns Choice RD; also, 22 grandchildren
  and 13 great-grandchildren.  Sister of Mrs. Monica Leonard, Berlin, RD 3;
  L.J. "Slim" of Alexandria, Va.; George of Jacksonville, Fla.; and Mrs.
  Renelda Suder, McConnellsburg.  Retired school teacher in Shade and
  Allegheny Township.  Member Third Order of Mt. Carmel; church organist for
  many years at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, New Baltimore, where
  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Thursday with the Rev.
  Barry Baroni.  Interment, church cemetery.  Friends received 2-4 and 7-9
  p.m. Wednesday at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg, where Wake
  service will be held 8:30 p.m. Wednesday.
